Getting Ready For the Upcoming NatureWorks Art Show and Sale!
by Rachelle Siegrist
Wes and I have had a busy week of painting, framing and getting ready for the upcoming NatureWorks Art show this next weekend. Since we’re flying again this year, we’ve had to figure out how to get all of our paintings packed into two suitcases, which is indeed like working a puzzle! We’ll have @24 of these tiny gems on display at the show, all looking to bring joy to happy new and existing collectors!
The show will take place at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel and Convention Center, March 5th and 6th, located in Tulsa, OK. It starts with a private patron reception Friday evening, so please contact us or the show committee if you’d like to attend!
I thought it would be fun to highlight a few of these paintings which will be on display at NatureWorks . . . .
Were looking forward to seeing you there!

This past week, I finished a miniature painting of a fly fishing guide named Forest. While spending a weekend with dear collector friends a couple of years ago, we had the amazing opportunity to go out fishing with Forest for four amazing hours one morning! It was my first time fly fishing with a wet fly in a river, and I loved every minute of it! I caught four trout, one of which was over 17 inches long, with all being happily released. Needless to say it was a most splendid opportunity and made for a wonderful memory! Painting on it made me feel like I was back there again, enjoying that magical morning . . . hence the title “Where Time Stands Still”.
I’m also currently painting on one of my dog commissions of an adorable Pomeranian named Izzy! I must admit the hardest part about it is, that I just want to pick him up and kiss him the entire time, because he’s just so cute! Excitedly I’ll be sharing the finished painting with you soon!
Until next time . . .
